OMG is there anything they will not do to block open and fair unionism. Vile. I am nauseated. Mulgrew is threatened. He’s grabbing at every possible straw to consolidate and strengthen his power. Closing ranks. Something has to give.

And we need to give it.

Who can we write to at the union to express that we agree with the minority report and want the task force to continue working. Is that an option?

Thank you! It's unclear when, or if, the UFT Executive Board will decide whether or not to direct the Task Force to continue its unfinished work. The names and contact information of the UFT Executive Board are not listed on the UFT website. UFT members can email UFT President Michael Mulgrew at mmulgrew@uft.org and UFT Secretary Michael Sill at msill@uft.org.

I am so sick of their retro views. Why in the world would they be opposed to electronic voting? Come to the 21st century, Mikey. It's a new world...but not for us. It's all so pathetic. And why did ARISE go along with that?

I was wondering why ARISE would go along with it also. Think MULGrew promised them something in return? ARISE really is despicable.

Unfortunately, you'd have to ask them. Very sad they chose that. Unity had already stacked the committee so they could do whatever they wished. They needed no help at all.

That’s what throws me off. Unity did not need ARISE. The only reason to want them was to say ABC is the outlier. But we know who speaks truth to power.

Well, I'm happy to be the outlier. Their group was small. Membership at large would surely support electronic voting. Unity wants to pick the voters instead of allowing the voters to pick leadership.
